The 2021 Ram 1500 wouldn't be the truck it is without a powerhouse engine, and this Ram offers 5 different choices: a 3.6L Pentastar® V6, 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 engine, 5.7L HEMI® V8, 5.7L HEMI® V8 with eTorque, and a Supercharged 6.2L HEMI® V8.

3.6L Pentastar® V6

Available as the standard gas engine or with eTorque technology, the 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine offers up to 305 horsepower with 269 lb-ft of torque and a towing capacity of 7,730 lbs.

3.0L EcoDiesel V6

Combining power and efficiency, the 3.0L EcoDiessel V6 engine has Best-In-Class 480 lb-ft of diesel torque, 260 horsepower and a diesel towing capacity of 12,560 pounds.

5.7L HEMI® V8

Available as gas or with eTorque technology, the 5.7L HEMI® V8 provides exceptional power that you've come to expect from the HEMI® name - pumping out 393 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. It also has a max towing capacity of 11,610 lbs or up to 12,750 lbs. when equipped with eTorque technology.

6.2L HEMI® V8

No big deal, it's only the most powerful factory installed engine ever in a half-ton truck! Available on the new and ferocious 2021 Ram TRX 1500, this workhorse delivers on all levels. The Class-Exclusive eTorque

The Class-Exclusive eTorque Mild Hybrid Technology is available with the 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine and the 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine and replaces the traditional alternator with a 48-volt battery-powered, belt-drive motor generator that aids with efficiency and performance, and can add up in hefty savings on gas.
