There are no major updates for the Ram 1500 in 2024. Ram has made a number of minor refinements to the standard and optional equipment across all trim levels. In addition, this will be the final year of the TRX, and Ram is offering it in a special Final Edition.
Benny Boyd Lampasas Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram gives you the choice of rear- or four-wheel drive with most trim levels. The exceptions are the Tradesman HFE, which is RWD, and the Rebel and TRX, which are 4WD. All models have an eight-speed automatic transmission. A diesel engine is no longer offered for the Ram 1500. The base engine is a 3.6-liter V6—305 hp and 269 lb.-ft.—with eTorque, and the optional engine is a 5.7-liter V8—395 hp and 410 lb.-ft.—that is available with eTorque as an option.

All of these systems have a rearview monitor, and a surround-view monitor is available. A number of other driver assists are available also, and those include automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, a digital rearview mirror, a head-up display and adaptive cruise control.
Trailer sway damping is standard equipment for the 2024 Ram 1500 in Lampasas. Trailering options include an integrated trailer brake controller, trailer reverse steering control and a Class IV receiver hitch with four- and seven-pin prewiring. Fifth-wheel and gooseneck setups are available as well, and the Rebel is an off-road pickup with a more advanced suspension and other mechanical upgrades.
The Tradesman, Tradesman HFE and Big Horn are designed as affordable options for fleet and non-fleet customers alike. The Laramie is a well-equipped model. The Rebel and TRX are off-road pickups, and the Limited Longhorn and Limited deliver high-end luxury experiences.
Granite – Flame Red – Hydro Blue – Ivory White – Patriot Blue – Bright White – Billet Silver – Diamond Black – Delmonico Red. Ram offers nine distinct exterior color options in all for the 2024 Ram 1500. Flame Red and Bright White are standard color choices included in the MSRP. The remaining colors are premium choices that require a small additional fee. Note that Ivory White is only available with the Laramie trim level and up and also that the Rebel gives you the option of a black-painted roof and thus a two-tone aesthetic.
